Ben Rufus Green - Comedian - Writer - Actor
Ben Rufus Green is an actor, writer and comedian. He has just wrapped on "Sister Boniface Mysteries" where he had a guest role as a resident of Great Slaughter. Ben filmed a part in "Deep Cover" early in 2024 (an exciting new feature film) and recently played series regular, Shane Wright in the BBC/ Hulu sitcom "Dinosaur". He can be seen in "Mandy" written, directed and starring Diane Morgan (he's in series 3, episode 4 playing a vicar). Ben is also in "Seize Them!" playing Osmund the Leather Maker (now available on streaming). He played David Cockfield in “The Cockfields” on Gold for UKTV and was in "Trying", “GameFace” and “Eastenders”. Other previous credits include “Alan Partridge’s Scissored Isle”, “Not Going Out”, "Doctors" and “Sherlock”. Ben wrote an award winning, super short film, “Paper Trail“, that was nominated for Best Online Comedy at the 2020 Writers Guild of Great Britain (the short was directed by Emily Brown). The film has won several other awards. He has also had a sitcom optioned by Princess Productions. Ben has built up his YouTube channel with sketches he’s written and his work is regularly featured on The British Comedy Guide. Ben has extensive training in the comedy world having trained with Second City, Monkey Toast and The Free Association! He is also, literally, a trained clown! |

Every Sunday (most Sundays..) I stream Washing Up Club.
